This document supplements the website's Privacy Policy and describes which cookies these pages use, for what purposes, and how users can manage or disable them. In short: this website uses a single technical cookie, installs no profiling cookies and embeds no third-party content. It collects aggregate visit and performance statistics using tools that install no cookies and do not identify the user; these are described in section 4.
1. What cookies are
Cookies are small text files that the websites you visit send to your device, where they are stored and then sent back to those same sites on subsequent visits. Similar technologies, such as local storage, pixels and web beacons, can perform equivalent functions and are subject to the same rules.
By purpose, a distinction is drawn between technical cookies, which are necessary for the site to work and to deliver the service expressly requested by the user, and profiling cookies, which are used to build user profiles and to display advertising in line with the preferences expressed. By the party installing them, a distinction is drawn between first-party cookies, managed directly by the website owner, and third-party cookies, managed by other parties.
Under Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code, technical cookies may be used without the user's prior consent, whereas profiling cookies and third-party cookies that are not strictly necessary require freely given, specific, informed and unambiguous consent, which may be withdrawn at any time.
3. Third-party cookies and external content
This website embeds no third-party content capable of installing cookies on the user's device: there are no interactive maps, videos, social widgets, support chats or fonts loaded from external servers. No third-party cookie is therefore installed while browsing, and no profiling activity is carried out.
In particular, the Contacts section does not embed the Google map inside the page: it simply provides a hyperlink that opens Google Maps in a new browser tab. This is a deliberate choice and ensures that no request is sent to Google's servers, and therefore no cookie is installed, unless the user actively decides to follow that link.
If the user chooses to open Google Maps, browsing continues on an external website over which the controller has no control: from that moment onwards only Google's terms and privacy policy apply, governing the cookies and the processing carried out on that platform.
Because this website uses technical cookies only and installs no profiling or third-party cookies, the user's prior consent is not required and no consent banner needs to be displayed: pursuant to Article 122 of the Italian Data Protection Code and the Italian Data Protection Authority's guidelines of 10 June 2021, this notice is sufficient. The statistical tools described in section 4 do not change that conclusion, because they neither store information on the user's device nor access it, and it is precisely such storage and access that Article 122 makes subject to consent. Consent would become mandatory if profiling cookies, advertising pixels, embedded third-party content, or analytics tools capable of identifying the user or tracking their behaviour over time were introduced.
4. Visit and performance statistics
This website collects aggregate statistics on page usage and loading times, in order to understand which content is consulted most and to identify performance problems. For this purpose it uses two tools provided by Vercel Inc., the provider hosting the website: "Web Analytics" for visits and "Speed Insights" for performance.
Both work without cookies: they install no file on the user's device, do not read its contents, and use no fingerprinting techniques. The scripts are served from the website's own domain rather than an external server, and the data collected is sent to that same domain. The information processed is technical and aggregate in nature — page requested, referring page, device type, country, loading-speed indicators — and does not make it possible to identify the user or to reconstruct their browsing across separate sessions.
Vercel Inc. acts as a processor appointed pursuant to Article 28 of the GDPR, on the controller's instructions. The legal basis for the processing is the controller's legitimate interest in understanding how its website is used and in keeping it efficient and secure (Article 6(1)(f) GDPR). None of the data collected by these tools is used for marketing, profiling or advertising purposes.
5. How to manage or disable cookies in your browser
Users may at any time configure their browser to block cookies, to be warned before they are installed, or to delete those already stored on the device. Please note that disabling technical cookies may impair some features of the site, such as remembering the selected language.

This notice has been drafted in accordance with Regulation (EU) 2016/679 (GDPR), with Italian Legislative Decree No. 196 of 30 June 2003 as amended (the Data Protection Code), with particular reference to Article 122, and with Directive 2002/58/EC concerning privacy and electronic communications.
Account has also been taken of the «Guidelines on cookies and other tracking tools» adopted by the Italian Data Protection Authority with decision No. 231 of 10 June 2021, published in Official Gazette No. 163 of 9 July 2021, which govern, among other things, how consent must be obtained, the exclusion of scrolling as a valid means of expressing it, and the obligation to allow the choice made to be withdrawn at any time.

8. Updates to this notice
The controller reserves the right to update this Cookie Policy whenever changes are made to the services used or to the applicable legislation. The version in force is always published on this page, together with the date of the latest update shown at the top of the document.
9. Note on legal review and implementation status
As at the date of the latest update, the website installs no profiling or third-party cookies, and the statistical tools described in section 4 store no information on the user's device: no consent-collection mechanism is therefore provided. Should profiling cookies, embedded third-party content, advertising pixels, support chats or analytics tools capable of identifying the user be introduced in future, a consent banner compliant with the guidelines referred to in section 6 will have to be adopted and this notice updated accordingly.
This document has been drafted on the basis of the technologies actually present on the website at the date indicated. It is recommended that it be reviewed by the company's legal adviser or trusted professional before final publication, and reassessed whenever new third-party services are introduced, such as analytics tools, embedded videos, support chats or advertising pixels. In particular, the statistical tools described in section 4 were introduced after this notice was first drafted: the assessment that consent is not required, set out in section 3, should be confirmed by the legal adviser.
